Internet War

A couple of hours ago the FBI took down the website MegaUpload and in response to this the infamous hacker group Anonymous took too the offensive and brought down the DoJ website. Along with that Anonymous also brought down the RIAA and the website for Universal Music Group.

It's quite interesting how these events have played out. What's more interesting is how this incident has been under reported in the US as compared to other countries.

The pictures attached show CNN's home page and BBC's home page. Notice the difference? MegaUpload isn't even mentioned on CNN.

I wonder why so many people are kept in the dark.
